We recently hosted a group of 100 team mates from Kinetic, in the mighty Waikato!

Kinetic asked us to plan a team building event to close off their conference at Jetpark Hamilton, with a strict time limit. Luckily, the Social Cooking team enjoys a challenge!

Cooking, by its very nature, is a collaborative activity requiring communication, coordination, and a dash of creativity — all of which are essential ingredients for a successful team. By working closely with the client, venue, and our suppliers, we were able to offer a tailored event for Kinetic. It filled the brief and was an enormous success! 

Here’s a few words from Jo at Kinetic:

“ Social Cooking met my non-typical brief to execute a Social Cooking experience for 100 people within a limited time slot in our conference at an external venue.  This required recipe creation, transportation and hiring equipment, liaising with the venue regarding equipment, food storage and facilities, plus the install of a couple of marquees. Everything was managed very efficiently including communication and problem solving leading up the event, and guidance when I needed it.  Thank you, Alina!

 From the group’s perspective the Masterclass BBQ social cooking activity was a real favourite. It was so great to see each team really come together especially when presenting to Katrina, who perfectly managed the people and experience on the day. You could feel the high energy in the room afterwards and it was a great way to finish with the team sharing of the meal.”
